LAFAYETTE — Dortha V. Craig, 78, Lafayette, died at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 in St. Mary Health Care. She was born May 13, 1929 in rural Fountain County, the daughter of Harold and Irene (Watkins) Pearson. She married Wesley Ross Craig March 27, 1948 in Williamsport. He preceded in death March 19, 1995. She graduated from Williamsport High School. She had been a medical records clerk for the Indiana Veterans' Home in West Lafayette. Survivors include: two sons, Wesley R. (Candance) Craig II, Lafayette and Andrew L. (Jeni) Craig, Attica; four sisters, Esther Conklin, Attica, Linda (Charles) Rush, Davenport, Fla., Kay Schnelle, Monticello, and Lena M. (John) Thomas, Logansport; a brother, Lawrence (Joyce) Pearson, Attica; six grandchildren, Nicole Craig, Sally Craig, Karen Craig, Kristi Walden, Deven Craig, and Christopher Charles; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Crayton. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Gravesite services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer's Association, 9135 N. Meridian St., Suite B-4, Indianapolis, Ind.
